An Achievement Earned Through Experience and Study
Certification through the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization requires much more than years in practice.
Attorneys seeking certification in family law must meet experience requirements, pass a written examination, complete additional continuing legal education, demonstrate substantial involvement in the field, and receive favorable evaluations from attorneys and judges familiar with their work.
Jackie has now completed that process and earned the right to be recognized as a Certified Family Law Specialist.
It is an accomplishment that reflects the time and work she has invested in building her family law practice.
Jackie’s Commitment to Family Law
Jackie has focused her legal career on helping people through some of the most personal and difficult issues they may ever face.
Her practice includes divorce, child custody and visitation, parentage matters, domestic violence restraining orders, and other California family law cases.
Long before earning this certification, Jackie made family law the focus of her legal education and professional development.
She graduated cum laude from Western State College of Law, where she earned a Family Law Practice Certificate. During law school, she served as President of the Family Law Association and participated on the Honors Moot Court Team.
Her commitment to developing her courtroom skills continued after law school. Jackie completed the National Family Law Trial Institute program and advanced training involving child custody and business valuation.
Each step reflects the same approach she brings to her cases: prepare carefully, keep learning, and take the responsibility of representing families seriously.
Another Milestone for Jackie
Jackie’s certification comes during an exciting period in her career.
She was also recently selected to the 2027 Southern California Rising Stars list for family law.
Becoming a Certified Family Law Specialist, State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, is especially meaningful because it represents the completion of a demanding certification process focused specifically on family law.
