Megan Thompson

Megan Thompson has worked in the legal field for over a decade. As a Southern California native, she attended Orange Coast College where she obtained her Associates of Arts Degree in Psychology. During her time at Orange Coast College, she worked for a civil firm in Newport Beach as a law clerk and eventually a legal secretary. There she developed her passion for the law and thrived under the supervision of the Senior Partner.

Megan then transferred to California State University Fullerton where she received a full academic grant to finish her studies. During her time at California State University Fullerton, she participated in research under the supervision of a well known professor. There she learned how to develop an independent study and process the complex data. Megan was also a Course Assistant during her last semester. She was responsible for maintaining constant contact with students, coordinating study groups and grading course work, which helped develop her management and interpersonal skills.

While attending California State University Fullerton, Megan started working for a Criminal Defense and Family Law Attorney in Orange County. She assisted in criminal and family law document preparation, case management and voire dire. As that attorney’s first employee, she learned to juggle both the client’s cases and overall business management.

Megan obtained her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology. Her passion for understanding human behavior has motivated her to remain in the legal field. A special addition to the Irwin & Irwin team, she enjoys helping clients navigate the complexities of the legal system by providing a strong support system to the attorneys and clients.
